I’ve been so spectacularly lucky to spend so much time here watching my children grow up. It’s a huge place and we only use part of it. The walls are so think it stays cool in summer and warm in winter. I love watching the dry electric storms rumble in at night across the huge plains in Autumn and going night swimming in the summer. The main hall dining table seats 12 plus kids so big Spanish family lunchtime meals were a real event. As an Englishman who married into a Spanish family I was always amazed just how many small stone built houses there are scattered across our lands, now all unused but some have specular views from higher lands. The soil is ideal for grape production and we even have our own wine made most years. We even have our own small church which we use for our family weddings. And if you fancy the popular beaches of the Costa Blanca then they are only a fast 50 minute drive away.
